BRATTLEBORO Ring in the New Year: Lasagna or Prime Rib/Garlic Roasted Pork Dinner: Lasagna dinner includes lasagna, salad, garlic bread and maple bread pudding. Prime Rib or Garlic Roasted Pork includes baked potato, vegetable, salad, roll. Take outs available. Snacks provided during the night with champagne toast at midnight (for those of age) plus noisemakers, beads, hats. Lasagna dinner: 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.; Prime Rib or Pork dinner: 6 p.m. Music and Dancing: 7:30 p.m. - 12 midnight ($10 at door if meal not included). $10 lasagna dinner, $20 prime rib or pork dinner. BRATTLEBORO Smorgasborg of Traditional Song & Dance Tunes: Last Night Brattleboro presents the 16th annual concert of New England, Appalachian, Irish, and French-Canadian dance music, fiddling from around the world, a feast of singing including singing for all, and a smattering of poems, featuring Brattleboro's Murphy/Tracy family (Keith Murphy, Becky Tracy, Aidan Murphy), and Amidon family (Peter and Mary Alice, Sam, Stefan and Zara Bode). 7 p.m. $15, $5 ages 6-14, free for ages 5 and under. DOVER Winter Seasonal Storytime: Includes a sampling of classic children's books as well as fantastic new releases. Following the read-aloud, children are invited to participate in a hands-on craft activity related to the theme of stories presented. 2:30 p.m. in the Children's Room (Closed 1/21 and 2/18).
