PUTNEY "Debating our Rights" - The Tenth Amendment: The Tenth Amendment reserves any power not delegated to the federal government to the states. Traditionally, those powers included all matters pertaining to public health, policing, and education. With the rise of the federal administrative state, some of those decisions are now handled by federal agencies. What are the disadvantages when power is more centralized? What are the advantages?
