NEWFANE Ayurvedic Spring Cleanse for Your Dosha: Open to any and all interested in an intro or refresher of Ayurvedic practices. Regular Spring cleansing is fundamental to a healthy Ayurvedic lifestyle as we notice that our bodies naturally awaken and want to re-charge and detox in the Spring. We'll explore the three predominant doshas and how they are affected by the seasons. We will learn ways to assist the body in flushing accumulated toxins, taste a detoxifying juice, tea, and kitchari, and learn about the benefits of simple, sensible fasting. NEWFANE 5th Annual West River Railroad Soup Fest and Silent Auction: The Historical Society of Windham County's is raising funds for the West River Railroad Museum. You won't have to ride the 36 Miles of Trouble to sample homemade soups from Brattleboro to South Londonderry. These restaurants along the West River Railroad line are catering to you: Whetstone Station, Brattleboro; Top of the Hill Grill, Brattleboro; Rick's Tavern, Newfane; Harmonyville Store, Townshend; Townshend Country Inn, Townshend; The Dam Diner, W. Townshend; Bitter Sweet Memories Cafe, Wardsboro; D & K Jamaica Grocery, Jamaica; Fran's Kitchen, Winhall; New American Grill, Londonderry. 4 p.m. doors open, 4 - 5:30 p.m. bidding on 50/50 raffle.
