GUILFORD Tai Chi for Fall Prevention: Regular practice improves balance, promotes correct posture and good health. Tai Chi for fall prevention classes are paced for seniors, combining qigong energy exercises with basic movements. Instructor Leah Gessner is certified by Tai Chi Vermont, Inc. NEWFANE Gentle Yoga for Achy Joints : Taught by Rosalind Fritz, this class increases mobility, creates strength, develops balance, inspires calm, and an overall sense of well-being. It offers a slower pace that works well for the older student or someone with injuries, limited mobility, or other special conditions. Students practice yoga using a variety of props, including chairs, allowing for the stretching/strengthening benefits of yoga regardless of current physical condition. Learn yoga postures, alignment, breathing techniques, meditation. Class is not limited by age, weight, arthritis, or other physical limitations. 9 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. on Mondays. LONDONDERRY House Sharing for Health & Happiness with Annamarie Pluhar: Through education, advocacy, and model development, the challenges of affordable housing and social isolation can be addressed by empowering people of all ages to choose, create, and sustain this housing option. Dance

MARLBORO Soul Line Dance Class with Rachael Shaw: Soul line dance is a low impact, synchronized style of dance done in lines. Students will learn short combinations that are repeated throughout the songs (R&B, soul, pop and funk music). Please bring comfortable indoor shoes with smooth non-marking soles. 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. in the Gym (Mondays thru 5/20). $10 per class, drop-ins welcome. Marlboro Elementary School. BRATTLEBORO Racial Justice Organizing Meeting: Black Lives Matter VT members, Lost River Racial Justice members, and People of Color Caucus invite those who wish to join the struggle for racial justice to attend. Meetings include time/space for: educating ourselves and each other by reading and discussing one section of the M4BL Platform per month; breakout time for the POC Caucus, a space for those who self-identify as people of color to build relationships, leadership capacity, and community organizing power; breakout time for Lost River Working Groups, including Fundraising (planning monthly events to benefit The Root SJC Racial Justice programming, Lost River Racial Justice, and BLM VT); Ready Response (showing up for specific racial justice campaigns and actions), and Political Education (planning monthly M4BL platform discussions and preparing for a study group in the fall); community announcements and relationship building. 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. monthly.
