BRATTLEBORO Michael Roberts CD Release w/ Katie Trautz: After a decade of leading the alt-country band Wooden Dinosaur, Roberts steps out with his first collection of songs under his own name. "Mixed Emotions" finds the songwriter leaning on stories of everyday lovers and losers to craft an album of narratives as rich and varied as the VT landscape he calls home. Katie Trautz's new album "Passage" is a collection of original music written over the past decade, with echoes of Honky-tonk, Appalachian music, and modern Americana. Songs are accompanied by country-style guitar, dobro, ethereal harmony, and a warm, steady rhythm section. 7 - 9:30 p.m. $10.
