CALENDAR LISTINGS FOR Tuesday, November
Brattleboro Area Hospice Caregiver Support Group (via Zoom or Phone): Whether you are a family, personal, or professional caregiver, caring for someone with a serious or terminal illness is a gift of love and a commitment that has many challenges. Consider joining our Caregiver Support Group to connect and get support. We know sharing your feelings online isn't ideal - but in these extraordinary times we must try to adapt and make sure we still safely connect with each other. 1 - 2:30 p.m. (2nd and 4th Tues. of every month). You can join by phone if you are unable or prefer not to join via video. Facilitated by John Everest, Hospice Care Coord. Free. Zoom. Information: Registration required: 802-257-0775 x 106 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Wildlife Road Crossings (Webinar): Dive into the science and planning of wildlife road crossings. First, we'll look at the field science of road ecology and what we've learned from years of camera trapping along roads and inside/under bridges and culverts. We'll also look at the computer models in Vermont Conservation Design to understand these concepts in a landscape context. Lastly, we'll explore how VT towns are improving and planning for wildlife movement across local roads. Presenters: Jens Hilke and Andy Wood. 10 - 11 a.m. This presentation is also offered on 12/14 by the VT Fish & Wildlife Dept. Free. Webinar.
