Southern VT Zone Invites Artists and Creatives to Statewide Creative Sector "IdeaJam" (via Zoom): We're calling on all creative sector artists, businesses, workers, supporters, entrepreneurs to join in a statewide conversation about how to advance VT's creative sector, how it can contribute to a vibrant VT, and to identify our regional needs. We're creating a statewide action plan to identify ways to support, market, grow everything from visual and performing arts to specialty foods, design, film and media, culture and heritage and literary arts and help ensure that the creative sector can help grow our overall economy. 12 noon-1 p.m. with optional "speed networking session" at 11:30 a.m. to meet creative peers statewide. In VT, the creative sector supports 41,000 jobs and contributes $1 billion to our economy. Authorized by the VT Legislature in 2016, this is a program of the VT Arts Council: vermontartscouncil.org/Vermont-creative-network. There will be another IdeaJam on 12/11 on statewide strategies. On 12/15, join a "Jamboree": celebration, sharing, action ideas. Closed captioning/accommodations available upon request. Zoom. Information: Register: createvt.org/events.
