BRATTLEBORO "The Great Reconciliation": Offering a safe, socially distanced way to view work by local artists. When you walk up on Main Street, digital images of artwork will light up storefront windows. Participating locations include the Latchis Hotel, the former Twin Flames restaurant at 95 Main St., and former Delectable Mountain store at 125 Main Street. Fifty-two images of work by 22 artists will be projected on the windows. 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. The brainchild of activist-artists Steve Wangh and Julie Snorek of VTArt-Rising, and supported by 350Brattleboro, the project aims to support community reconciliation and healing in light of a divisive political period. GRAFTON Yes, There Will Be Christmas In Grafton: The Covid pandemic has caused many changes in our lives but the women and men of the Grafton Fire and Rescue Auxiliary continue to be constant in their support of local First Responders according to Auxiliary President Amber Stevens. She further stated: "You can help in this effort and bring some normalcy to your home as we enter the holiday season by visiting Grafton Village and purchasing a Christmas tree at the annual Christmas in Grafton Festival.". 9 a.m.-3 p.m. 12/5 and 12/6: The Auxiliary is selling fresh cut VT trees near the Phelps Barn at the Grafton Inn. Any remaining trees will be available at the Grafton Village Garage. Trees range from 5 to 10 feet high; local delivery can be arranged. Through Sunday, December 6. BRATTLEBORO Holiday Pop-Up Shop: Featuring items by local crafters, artists, foragers, and bakers. Also a Christmas tree sale, snacks, and gift wrapping. 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Entry through the side door, signage to direct you there, 10 person capacity (socially distant).
