PUTNEY Experienced Goods Bag Sewing Bee: Putney community member and sewing enthusiast, Melanie Fletcher, is the seamstress behind those amazing reusable t-shirt bags given out at Experienced Goods Thrift Store. The demand for the bags is big and we're looking for the community's help in cutting and sewing for another big batch of bags in support of our local Hospice. Whether you're an experienced tailor or have never sewed a stitch, we need your help!. Thread donations can be dropped off at the library any time before the 15th. Experienced Goods is the main source of funding for Brattleboro Area Hospice and is located on the ground floor of the Transportation Center in Brattleboro. Free. WALPOLE "Dance Around Monadnock" - English Country Dance Series: Beginners and singles welcome - all dances are taught by Chris Levey throughout the session to both novice and experienced dancers. Lovely music provided by performers Kate Barnes and Karen Axelrod playing piano, accordion, flute, and guitar. Comfortable clothes and clean shoes recommended.
