BRATTLEBORO Free Breakfast Sandwiches for Kids: These sausage and cheese egg sandwiches are made fresh with local eggs and sausage. Sausage donation and catering by CherryRail Farm with additional donations and support from Pete and Gerry's Eggs, Against the Grain, Brown and Roberts, Leader Home Center and Wendy's. To honor social distancing, place your order at the drive-up order area and then drive up to the pick up station. SO. NEWFANE Online Japanese Knotweed Wild-Crafting Intensive with Juliette Carr: Learn to identify and harvest Japanese Knotweed. Medicinal uses, preparation techniques, culinary use, and wild-crafting ethics will be discussed, with a special focus on Lyme disease. This class has been moved online due to COVID-19, but I'm confident you will learn all you need to know to identify, process and use this wonderful wild food and medicine on your own. PUTNEY Putney Foodshelf - New Hours of Operation: Due to the coronavirus situation, the Putney Foodshelf has instituted a drive-up model and implemented systems to protect their volunteers and the families they serve. This includes maintaining at least six feet of distance between people at all times. Shoppers remain in their cars. Foodshelf volunteers will direct shoppers on where to park and will bring bags of pre-packed shelf-stable groceries and produce to the cars. Open only on Saturdays from 9 - 11 a.m. Free.
