Well-being

BRATTLEBORO Brattleboro Area Hospice: Taking Steps Brattleboro (TSB) - Give the Gift of Love (via Zoom online): Join us for a Zoom Advance Care Planning/Advance Directive Question and Answer Information session. Ask questions about completing or updating an Advance Directive for healthcare including where do I find the forms, which form is right for me, who should be named as an healthcare agent, who do I give the completed form to, and how do I talk with my family about my healthcare wishes if I am unable to speak for myself? Importantly, anyone over 18 years old should have a completed Advance Directive. Has COVID-19 pandemic got you thinking about your wishes for medical treatment? Completing an Advance Directive for medical care is an important self-care planning task. Now is the time to address any barrier to completing your Advance Directive. TSB trained volunteers are available to assist you in completing your Advance Directive. This meeting is an opportunity to take the first step in giving your family a gift of love. 10 - 11 a.m. on Wednesdays. Through Wednesday, June 24. Free. Brattleboro Area Hospice.
