BRATTLEBORO WVEW /Indigo Radio (107.7 FM) - Community Radio Fundraiser: "As many of you know Brattleboro Solidarity has a show, Indigo Radio, on WVEW Brattleboro Community Radio. We discuss important global and local issues. Since we shifted to remote broadcasting to keep our members and their families safe, WVEW has been doing amazing things remotely. We currently have 30 shows back on the air, either being broadcast live, pre-recorded from home, or airing reruns. Our news and talk programming has been interviewing people and addressing issues related to the pandemic, and our musical programming remains delightfully diverse. As a community, we've supported each other to learn new skills and the Board of Directors has made some grant funding available to help people buy microphones and software. Several of our hosts have also recorded PSA's on timely topics such as where to get free food, mutual aid and public health.". "At this time we need to supplement our income in order to offset expected losses of underwriting revenue due to the stresses on many of our local businesses. Any amount will help keep this awesome programming on the air.". Brattleboro Community Radio. Information: WVEW fundraising campaign:
