"The Pollinators" (Online): Thousands of semi-trailers criss-cross the country delivering goods to stores, warehouses, factories nationwide. Some of them are carrying honey bees - tens of billions of them are transported back and forth from one end of the U.S. to the other in a unique annual migration that's indispensable to the feeding of America. One out of every three bites we eat, the growth of almost all our fruits, nuts and vegetables, would be impossible without pollination from bees. This new documentary, directed by Peter Nelson and produced by Sally Roy, Nelson, and Michael Reuter, warns that bees are still in serious danger. 7 p.m. Film showing. 8:45 p.m. Q&A with Peter Nelson. 100 attendees max. Trailer: Sponsored by the Londonderry Conservation Commission. Free. Online. Email for link to online event on Vimeo:
