GUILFORD Soccer at the Library (Grades 5-8): Peter Welch will lead an energetic and fun week of Soccer. Each day will start at the library with breakfast and a preview from the Library’s new offerings of soccer-related books, including Alex Morgan's autobiography Breakaway" and national bestseller "Outcasts United." Campers "warm-up" with a run to the Guilford Central School for a physical and fun morning of soccer drills, games, freestyle exercises, and group scrimmages. The day ends with a walk back to the library, cooling off, and exploration at Weeks Forest and the Playscape. 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. No soccer experience needed. Shin guards required. BRATTLEBORO Your Pre-Used Cell Phone Can Help a Person in Recovery: Brattleboro Area Mutual Aid Tech team (BAMA) and Steve West plan to provide Turning Point of Windham County with as many refurbished pre-used cell phones as they can so people in recovery can access online and phone supports. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. every week, Mon.-Sat. Bring your used (but still working) cell/smart phones to the Brooks Memorial Library's main entrance. Disinfect and factory reset your phone(s) before donating. Through Saturday, July 25. Free.
