BRATTLEBORO Tennis Fundamentals for Ages 8 to 12: Learn good techniques, play games, and focus on becoming a great tennis player! No experience necessary. Equipment loans are available for new players. 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Fred H. Harris Tennis Courts. If special needs are required, let us know by 5 days in advance. Mail in your registration and check payable to the Brattleboro Recreation and Parks Dept., PO Box 513, Brattleboro, VT 05031. In person registration available by appointment and masks required. BRATTLEBORO Your Pre-Used Cell Phone Can Help a Person in Recovery: Brattleboro Area Mutual Aid Tech team (BAMA) and Steve West plan to provide Turning Point of Windham County with as many refurbished pre-used cell phones as they can so people in recovery can access online and phone supports. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. every week, Mon.-Sat. Bring your used (but still working) cell/smart phones to the Brooks Memorial Library's main entrance. Disinfect and factory reset your phone(s) before donating. Through Saturday, August 1. Free.
