NEWFANE "What the Constitution Offers Us" (Series): Discussion about the 2nd amendment (the right to be an armed citizenry) with Meg Mott, Prof. Emerita of Politics at Marlboro College. 7 - 8:3O p.m. Outdoors in a salon-style setting. Public Hearings - Law Enforcement in Vermont (Livestream): The Vermont House Government Operations and House Judiciary Committees are co-hosting virtual meetings to obtain input from community members on proposed changes to law enforcement in Vermont. Folks can offer testimony (up to 2 minutes) and/or respond to a survey to share their ideas on police reforms for Vermont. Individuals will be able to access the meetings through their computers or phones. 6 p.m. and 8/16 (Sun.) at 4 p.m. If you're unable to attend or prefer not to speak at a meeting but still want to provide input, fill out this Social Equity Caucus survey: www.surveymonkey.com/r/SECpolicereformsurvey.
