Sandglass Theater - "D-Generation: An Exaltation of Larks" 2012 (Livestream): This production explores the rich creative potential and ability to communicate that exists even in people with late-stage dementia. The piece is based on stories written collaboratively by groups of people with dementia at Brattleboro's Pine Heights and Holton Home care facilities. Their words, their images, their creative imaginations yield work that is poetic, humorous, and quite mysterious. Performed by Eric Bass, Ines Zeller Bass, and Kirk Murphy Puppets by Ines Zeller Bass, Coni Richards, and Jana Zeller. Video by Michel Moyse. Music by Paul Dedell. Yellow Barn - "Patio Noise" (via Zoom): Discussion of the 2020 opening night concert, including Ives's "Concord" piano sonata and the world premiere of a new work by Stephen Coxe for string quartet and percussion - a response and a prelude to the slow movement of Beethoven's Op. 132 quartet.
