BRATTLEBORO New Yorker Discussion Group at Brooks Memorial Library: Do you read The New Yorker magazine regularly? Would you like to discuss recent articles with fellow readers? This is an exploratory meeting about forming a New Yorker magazine discussion group. Similar to a book group, participants would bring their favorite articles in the magazine every month for comments and discussion. 7 p.m., 2nd fl., Community Meeting Room. Addressing Anti-Semitism in Vermont (via Zoom): Hosts Rev. Lisa Sparrow and Rep. Mike Mrowicki are joined by Vt. Senate President Becca Balint. With Anti-Semitic acts ongoing and continuing to rise, recent local incidents inspire this effort to raise the profile of the experience of our Jewish friends/neighbors in VT. Intros followed by video presentation of the first part of the PBS Documentary, "VIRAL- 4 Mutations of Anti-Semitism." Breakout rooms for discussion, including space for our local Jewish friends/neighbors to share their experience of being Jewish in VT. 7 p.m. Zoom.
