BRATTELBORO Brattleboro Common Sense (BCS) - Introductory Lesson to Critical Race Theory: Classroom-style lecture on Critical Race Theory (CRT) by Prof. Etan Nasreddin-Longo. "Everyone has an opinion but this is a subject that deserves a serious learning environment and a qualified teacher." Prof. Longo lectures on race and CRT and has been a visiting professor at Marlboro College. He's director of the VT Legislative Panel on Racial Disparities and counsel to the Vermont State Police on officer training. 2:30 p.m. Bring a pencil, paper, and mask. BRATTLEBORO Family Snowshoeing and Cross-Country Skiing: Enjoy snowshoeing or XC skiing with your household on the Brattleboro Outing Club (BOC) trails located at the Brattleboro Country Club (BCC). There are miles of scenic well-groomed trails for beginners or the most advanced participant. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Offered by Brattleboro Rec. and Parks and the Brattleboro Outing Club. If you do not have snowshoes, borrow them from Brooks Memorial Library or bring your XC Skis from home and head to the trails at the back end of the parking lot at the Brattleboro Country Club. Through Wednesday, December 29. $10 single/$20 per household per day. Place all donations in black mailbox located at the bulletin board at the trails head.
