LONDONDERRY Ayurveda: Ayurveda is considered by many scholars to be the oldest healing science. In Sanskrit, Ayurveda means "The Science of Life." Ayurvedic knowledge originated in India over 5,000 years ago and is often called the "Mother of All Healing." The principles of many of the natural healing systems now familiar in the West have their roots in Ayurveda, including Homeopathy and Polarity Therapy. Lini and Kate will guide you through simple lifestyle practices based on diet, rest, exercise and meditation. They will support you in applying these daily practices so you can witness the profound changes in your physical body, emotional makeup and mental well-being. 11 - 12 noon. Just as houses, vehicles and gardens need help adapting to the colder, shorter days, so does one’s body, mind, and spirit. Jones has worked with clients around multiple aspects of their health since 2014, collaborating in transforming their values/desires into action and lasting change over time. 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Fridays.
