Brattleboro Area Hospice's Taking Steps Brattleboro - Advance Care Planning/Advance Directive Q&A Info Sessions: Advance Care Planning includes discussing choices about end-of-life care with your medical provider, family, others and includes choosing/educating your Health Care Agent and making informed decisions to complete an Advance Directive. Anyone over the age of 18 benefits from having a completed Advance Directive. Completing an Advance Directive is a gift to those who you love. Services include the weekly Zoom meeting and individual ACP meetings by phone, Zoom, or in-person to complete an Advance Directive. Celebrating Gardens with Dramatic Reading of "Seedfolks" by Paul Fleischman (via Zoom or Phone): This book consists of 11 intriguing monologues of neighbors (from various cultural backgrounds and of various ages) who transform a vacant city lot into a flourishing garden. Most of the 11 readers for this piece are experienced actors. And some are enthusiastic gardeners. After the reading, information about the Bellows Falls Community Garden and how one can become a part of it will be shared. 7 p.m. Offered by the Rockingham Free Public Library.
