Visual arts and shows

BRATTLEBORO Fluxus artist Ken Friedman's "92 Events": In this international touring exhibition are 63 years of Friedman's event scores, together with a 2021 work "Six Philosophical Events." Conceptual, action-oriented, language-based works attach themselves to daily life, challenging the idea of an artwork as a unique object. Each event score is transcribed on its own sheet. 11 a.m.-8 p.m. (closed Tues.) Exhibition conceived by Friedman and Copenhagen-based art historian Peter van der Meijden. Concurrent with "92 Events," Friedman presents new work from 2021, "Six Philosophical Events," adjacent to "92 Events." Also, Nye Ffarrabas' 60-plus-year retrospective is still on view - found art, word play, mixed media artworks from 1956 to now, plus video artist Le Xi's exhibition. Through Thursday, April 28. Free. CX Silver Gallery, 814 Western Ave. Information: 802-257-7898; Click for more info on Web in new window.
