BRATTLEBORO Northern Roots Traditional Music Festival (In Person/Live Stream/Online Sessions): Featuring popular performers Hanneke Cassel and Yann Falquet with high energy fiddle music from Scotland and Cape Breton; Arthur Davis and Emma Schneider, the next generation in Traditional Song; Rachel Bell (accordion) and Karen Axelrod (piano) performing English Country Dance music; and Rachel Clemente and Dan Houghton performing on harp and Scottish pipes. 7:30 p.m. Now a cornerstone of the traditional music calendar in New England, the Festival offers a unique showcase of a variety of northern musical traditions including Irish, Scottish, English, French Canadian, Shetland, and, this year, Welsh. Explore Ways to Embrace and Maintain Wellness with Certified Wellness Coach Carol Jones (via Zoom or Phone): Carol collaborates with individuals in transforming their values and desires into action and lasting change over time. This offering is sponsored by the Rockingham Library. 5:30-6:30 p.m. every other Friday. Carol is a graduate of the Wellness Coach Training Program at the Mayo Clinic.
