BRATTLEBORO Blues-A-Rama: Local blues artists Jesse Lepkoff, Scott Ainslie, Sunny Lowdown, Samirah Evans, Rob Freeberg, and Greg Burnell will perform original and traditional blues. Enjoy toe-tapping, tongue-in-cheek, rollicking lyrics, storytelling, and a rip-roaring good 'ole time. Includes music by Bessie Smith, Ma Rainy, and Robert Johnson, plus new originals and more. 4 p.m. Blues-A-Rama is a celebration of Southern VT's local blues talent. Event doubles as a fundraiser for Lepkoff - winner of VT Blues Society Blues Competition and enables him to travel to Memphis, TN to compete in the 2023 Intl. Blues Competition. SAXTONS RIVER Shoulder Narrows Brings Holiday Songs to Yulefest: The 13-member student-run group has been in existence since 2004 when it was founded as a senior project by a Brattleboro Union High School student. They will be performing both seasonal songs and several Shoulder Narrows standards. Other members are Griffin Woodruff, T Contakos, Jonas Ackerman-Hovis, Elliot Cancie-Obello, Jude Trombley, Max Konidaris, Ori Johnson, Auzen Arvian, Silas BruBaker, Will Drummy. Miles Ackerman-Hovis is the group’s leader, Kyle Girard is the musical director, Olly Sergi is the group's social media manager. 4-7 p.m. 3 p.m: A children's craft and food sale will be happening before and after the concert in the same location.
