BRATTLEBORO Brattleboro Music Center: Sarasa Ensemble Returns with "Native Realm": Season Guest Series continues with the Sarasa Ensemble presenting "Native Realm," a look at Poland's distinct culture and native land through the lens of Telemann, Gorecki, and Schmelzer. Performers include Jesse Irons and Miranda Fulleylove, violins; Jason Fisher, viola; and Jennifer Morsches, cello. Program opens with Tomas Lus de Victoria's sublime call to the miracles of the world in 'O Magnum Mysterium'. 7:30-9 p.m. Masks required. Attendees must present proof of full vaccination or negative PCR test from within 48 hours. BRATTLEBORO Youth Chess Classes (Beginners and Intermediate) Session III: Beginners: Instruction will introduce basic principles of chess to participants, along with simple strategies and tactics, and provide a venue to play practice games. Intermediate: Players must know basic checkmate and a few tactics/strategies. Instructor for both classes is Eric Strickland. 4:15-5 p.m. (Beginners), 3:15-4 p.m. (Intermediate) in the Conference Room. Offered by Brattleboro Rec. & Parks. Note: No classes 3/25 and 4/22.
