Patti Smith: "Raising Pumpkin" (Zoom): Born to a single mother in a stone culvert, this beaver's life was strange from the beginning. From there it got stranger still. Much stranger. Learn about Pumpkin's childhood in the Beaver Lodge and the many adventures that ensued on his path to adulthood. His surrogate parent - wildlife rehabilitator and BEEC naturalist Patti Smith - will share the many things Pumpkin taught her about beaver childhood, adolescence, and maturity. Free Vermont Family Support Programs - Nurturing Father's Program (Online): Curriculum-based parenting education programs for families experiencing stress. Participants may start up to 2 weeks after class begins. 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. This is one of six programs. All programs are 2 hours a week for 12 to 14 weeks. Free. Online.
