BRATTLEBORO Aerial Yoga Class Offers Health Benefits: Aerial Yoga is now offered through the New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA) to Brattleboro area residents of all ages and body types. Beginners are welcome in this yoga flow class that utilizes loops of fabric attached to the ceiling to support the body. Participants experience suspension on professionally and safely installed equipment while staying close to the floor with low impact sequences that release tension and endorphins. 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays. For yoga practitioners, loops of fabric make inversions and yoga poses more accessible. Benefits include: relieving joint pressure and spinal compression that floor workouts can trigger, increased balance, improved breath/body awareness, enhanced core strength for back and joint health. BRATTLEBORO Parenting 4 Justice - Monthly Book Group: Dive deep into the topics of Social Justice, Parenting for Social Justice, Parenting for Racial Justice, Parenting for Economic Justice, Parenting for Disability Justice, Parenting for Gender Justice, and Parenting for Collective Liberation.
