BRATTLEBORO "The State of the State's Fisheries": Presentation by Lael Will - Vermont Fish and Wildlife: Lael has been a fisheries biologist in Vermont since 2012 after working in fisheries in California, Arkansas, and Georgia. She works primarily on trout fisheries in rivers and streams and bass fisheries in lakes and ponds. She also works on improving habitat and fish passage for diadromous species as chair of the Science Committee of the CT River Atlantic Salmon Commission such as American eel, sea lamprey and American shad. Lael conducts environmental review of development project proposals for potential impacts to Vermont's fish populations. 5:30 p.m. Pizza and soda. 6 p.m. Presentation in Meeting Room A (Community Meeting Room). BRATTLEBORO Vermont Food Bank: Veggie Van Go: Free produce and local food for people to take home. 10-11 a.m. in parking lot across main entrance to school (do not arrive before 9:45 a.m.) Stay in your vehicle. If you are walking to get here, see a VT Foodbank associate but make sure to stay 6 ft. back. No income requirements, registration or paperwork to participate. You do not need to be present to get food but can ask someone to pick up on your family's behalf. Brattleboro Union High School, 131 Fairground Rd.
