Early-bird tickets on sale for Brattleboro’s 17th annual a cappella benefit concert

BRATTLEBORO — Early-bird tickets are now on sale for the 17th Annual Collegiate A Cappella Concert, a benefit for the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center taking place at the Latchis Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 7:30 p.m.

This year marks the first time early-bird pricing has been offered for this popular event. Tickets are available at a 10 percent discount through Nov. 30 at brattleboromuseum.org or 802-257-0124, ext. 101. After Nov. 30, regular-priced tickets will cost $10 to $50.

The concert will feature six groups, two of which are currently confirmed - the multicultural, multi-genre Univoz Vocal Ensemble, based in Boston and featuring Brattleboro's own Ian Epstein, and the award-winning Tufts Beelzebubs, whose alumni include BMAC Director Danny Lichtenfeld.

The remaining groups will be announced shortly.

The Feb. 8 concert at the Latchis Theatre will be preceded by the High School A Cappella Warm-Up Concert at BMAC the previous night. During Gallery Walk on Friday, Feb. 7, at 7:30 p.m., local high school groups will perform in the Museum's Wolf Kahn & Emily Mason Gallery.

Tickets are $5 at the door, free for youth 18 and under.
