BRATTLEBORO — In the first section of the March 17 issue, on page A5 next to a photo of State Sen. Becca Balint, I read about efforts to attract visitors and new residents to Brattleboro.
The three articles on the front page of Section C are about (1) the opioid crisis, (2) people not feeling safe in Brattleboro, and (3) inequities in school funding.
The dissonance struck me. If I were considering a move, or even a visit, to Brattleboro, the articles on the front page of Section C would certainly discourage me.
