Gartenstein will run for Representative Town Meeting moderator

BRATTLEBORO — I will be a candidate to be elected Brattleboro Representative Town Meeting moderator.

A lawyer by trade, I have worked for 17{1/2} years at the Windham County State's Attorney's Office prosecuting serious felony and other cases.

My municipal service in Brattleboro includes:

• six years on Selectboard, with four years as chair

• three years on the Brattleboro Union High School board

• 2{1/2} years on Town School Board

• Nine years on Development Review Board, with 5 years as chair

• Being a Town Meeting representative.

My priorities if elected will be to ensure that all persons have a fair opportunity to speak, that decisions be made based with full deliberation and in consideration of all available information, that meetings run smoothly, and that governing procedures are complied with.

In March 2022 I will ask for your vote.

On behalf of myself, Town Meeting members, and residents, thank you to Lawrin Crispe for his work as moderator.
