BRATTLEBORO — Do you have a great business idea, but lack the funds to get it off the ground? Applications are now open to compete in the 2022 Windham Country Business Plan Competition.
This competition is sponsored by the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation and is funded by the Windham County Economic Development Program. It is designed to create opportunities for startups and existing businesses in the region to create and refine their business plans, hone their pitches, and be in the running to receive an award that will assist their projects.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to win $20,000 to start their business and gain practical insights about how to grow a business.
Applicants are expected to present their business idea at one of the following Quick Pitch Events:
• Wednesday, June 8, at the Flat Iron Cooperative in Bellows Falls, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• Thursday, June 9, at Trail 87 in Dover from 5 to 8 p.m.
• Thursday, June 16, at River Garden Marketplace in Brattleboro from 5 to 8 p.m.
• Thursday, June 23, at New American Grill in Londonderry from 4 to 7 p.m.
