BRATTLEBORO—Hooker-Dunham Theater & Gallery presents Baltimore’s well-loved acrobatic burlesque superduo, Trixie Little and The Evil Hate Monkey, with their troupe of Vermont vixens on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 6 and 7, at 8 p.m.
Featuring striptease, acrobatics, debuts, greatest hits, shenanigans, and a monkey, the Bootcamp cast is ready to put Brattleboro on the burlesque map.
Trixie Little and The Evil Hate Monkey have been fighting, dancing, flipping, and stripping for audiences since 2002.
With highly skilled antics with a love-hate dynamic, Trixie and Monkey perform jaw-dropping acrobatic, trapeze, striptease, and physical comedy feats that make fun sexy and sexy fun.
Recently featured in the premiere episode of The Gong Show with Dave Attel on Comedy Central, this talented twosome has also performed with John Waters and The Flaming Lips; on three consecutive Virgin Music Festivals; Burlesque-A-Pades national tours; and the Philly, D.C., and Brighton, England, Fringe Festivals.
They are the winners of the Las Vegas 2006 Exotic World Best Burlesque Duo trophy.
In New York City, the two are regular late-night fixtures at the uber-exclusive nightclub, The Box, and have been called “the only way to end the party,” by The Village Voice.
Hooker-Dunham Theater & Gallery is located at 139 Main Street, downtown Brattleboro, Vt.
