Give it a rest!

At this point it appears to me and many others that Mimi Yahn has some axe to grind. Not only is this installment of hers completely divisive, but it is also antagonistic and distasteful, too.

The Putney Food Co-op board and members who attend the meetings all want to create the best set of bylaws. To do so, we all need a modicum of respect and restraint. So stacking the board is completely counterproductive in this instance: The board is comprised of members and, from what I see, they are very receptive to all of the suggestions voiced at the meeting - even Mimi's.

So I am dumbfounded that these attacks persist.

I think it is the responsibility of The Commons to fact-check articles and accurately report on these interesting events, not to provide a platform for hateful speech that undermines a truly beneficial democratic process.

The court has denied the appeal based on insufficient evidence that the lighting is above the maximum. The case was not successful in many ways, notably...

One more thing...

You did not mention that I am pushing for solar-powered battery-powered electric lights for the proposed park-and-ride project in Putney; that would save $22,000. Regular lighting will not save that money. This is a real error/omission in the article.
