A vibrant and vital downtown Brattleboro

I extend a my sincere gratitude to all who have a hand in making downtown such a festive place to visit, live, and work, especially during the holiday season.

A hearty thank you to Dick and Missy DeGray for the tireless effort enhancing our streets with flowers, lights, and cheer. Thanks, too, to the town and to all of independent store and restaurant owners whose creativity keep people coming to experience our community.

Lastly, I am grateful for the work of all Downtown Brattleboro Alliance board members and staff, especially to Jim Verzino, Jen Austin, and Lisa Ford, who are departing from our fun and forward-thinking group. They will be missed!

I consider myself lucky to live in a place where so many people come together on behalf of our neighborhood. I hope everyone considers supporting our independent businesses this holiday season. It strengthens our community's ability to enhance our streets and uplift all of our residents.
