I am a local person running for state representative as an independent for the Windham-3 district. I am running for quite a few reasons.
The number one reason is because I have traveled throughout the country and I think Vermont is the greatest place around. I am proud to say that I have called Vermont home for as long as I can remember.
It is so great that as we all know in Vermont, we make more maple syrup than any other state, tons of marble as well, and let's not forget the many other important things the rest of the country relies upon us for.
We also know that we have an incredible amount of cows here, the highest ratio of dairy cows per person in the country, I have heard before. Over 100 covered bridges and around 80 percent forest in the good old Green Mountain State are awesome statistics, of course! We are the second most rural state next to Maine. All wonderful things, in my opinion.
