Brattleboro Time Trade presents Spring Forward Extravaganza

BRATTLEBORO — Brattleboro Time Trade's second annual Spring Forward Extravaganza will take place on Friday, March 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the River Garden on Main Street.

The event is in collaboration with the Arts Council of Windham County; it will be the opening night of the Student Art Show, and it was also chosen to coincide with that weekend's return of Daylight Savings Time.

The Extravaganza will feature a silent auction, a cabaret stage emceed by juggler Tony Duncan (showcasing music by Bad to Be Good, The Incurable Semantics, Jesse Lepkoff, and Luz Elena Morey), a dessert bar and cafe, a spring plants table, and new member registration. Dosa Kitchen will also be there serving South Indian fare.

Brattleboro Time Trade (BTT) is a service exchange network where everyone's time is valued equally. BTT is part of a global time-banking movement that matches unmet needs with untapped resources. Proceeds from this event will go toward BTT's scholarship fund. Admission is free.
