BRATTLEBORO — Brattleboro Community Television (BCTV), the community media center serving southern Windham County, will offer small group classes with hands-on experience in video production this spring.

Spring 2016 Workshops:
• Audio for Video: Nothing sets a video production apart like good audio. Local audio professional Jeff Mastroianni presents this workshop dedicated to the art of sound, exploring the pros and cons of an array of different microphones, and offering tips on audio recording in the field. • Create a Nonprofit PSA: Today's media tools make it easy to tell your story and share it with the world. Tuesday, April 26, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• Video on any Device: You don't need a production van filled with gear to make world-class video anymore - these days you don't even need a video camera. Whether you're using your cell phone, tablet, webcam, or DSLR, creating video has never been more accessible. This course offers tips and tricks on uploading, sharing, converting, compressing, and archiving your video creations. No prior experience required; BYO device. Thursday, May 5, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• Photoshop for Video: How to use Photoshop as a powerful editing tool with Adobe Premiere Pro. Tuesday, May 10, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
