HCRS thanks voters for funding support

The board and staff of Health Care and Rehabilitation Services of Southeastern Vermont (HCRS) thank town residents throughout Windsor and Windham counties who voted to support HCRS's town-funding requests at their recent Annual Town Meetings.

This critically important town funding will help HCRS to achieve our mission: to provide creative, collaborative, and compassionate health-care services that are responsive to the needs of the communities we serve.

The broad spectrum of programs we offer help community members struggling with mental illness, substance abuse, and/or developmental disabilities to access the support they require - 365 days a year, seven days a week, 24 hours each day.

The HCRS programs your dollars continue to fund include adult mental-health and addiction services; developmental services; children, youth, and families programs; the Kindle Farm Alternative School; emergency services; and residential services.

Our thanks go out to Andover, Athens, Barnard, Chester, Dover, Dummerston, Grafton, Guilford, Halifax, Hartford, Hartland, Jamaica, Landgrove, Londonderry, Ludlow, Marlboro, Newfane, Plymouth, Pomfret, Putney, Reading, Royalton, Sharon, Stratton, Townshend, Wardsboro, Weathersfield, Westminster, Weston, West Windsor, Whitingham, Wilmington, Windham, Windsor, and Woodstock.

With the help of these communities, HCRS will continue to make a substantial and positive impact on the quality of life that the residents of Windsor and Windham Counties experience throughout the year.
