Brattleboro Brewers Festival comes to the Guilford Fairgrounds

GUILFORD-A day of "delicious discoveries and good times with a purpose" will be on tap at the Brattleboro Brewers Festival on Saturday, May 31 with "a vibrant celebration of craft beverages, live music, and community fun," said organizers in a news release.

The Brattleboro Brewers Festival has been an annual event since 2010.

This year's festival expands its sampling to include ready-to-serve cocktails alongside the local microbrews and ciders. Returning Vermont brewers include Lawson's Finest, Upper Pass, and Citizen Cider, joined by newcomers such as Prohibition Pig, Incandescent, and Elm City from Keene, New Hampshire.

Beyond the drink lineup, the Brattleboro Brewers Festival offers entertainment. Groove Prophet will take the stage, providing a musical backdrop for the festivities.

Attendees can also enjoy classic lawn games like Keg Toss, Corn Hole, and giant Connect Four. A variety of local food trucks will be on site, offering everything from Thai cuisine to barbeque and fries.

Those who attend the festival will be supporting two organizations dedicated to serving veterans: Chasing Zero is committed to preventing veteran suicide through awareness, support, and resources. Wreaths Across America coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and other veterans' cemeteries across the nation, honoring the service and sacrifice of our fallen heroes.

Tickets are still available at brattleborobrewersfestival.com. Please note that attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
