Watercolor art students present group show

NEWFANE-Throughout the month of June, local artist and teacher Lynn Zimmerman presents "Watercolor Discoveries," a group show at the Crowell Gallery of work by her students.

Twenty-seven women artists who have studied with Zimmerman in her online classes will share their watercolor paintings. Most of the artists are local. Each one will share a discovery made while exploring this medium.

A reception will be held at the gallery on Saturday, June 7, from 1 to 3 p.m. Many of the original pieces will be for sale. An array of prints and cards will also be available for purchase at the reception or on request.

The Crowell Gallery is located in the Moore Free Library, 23 West St. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 1 to 5 p.m.; Thursday, 1 to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
