’Thank you’ to Connie Burton, and a Green Up Day reminder

BRATTLEBORO-As Vermont's 54th Green Up Day approaches on Saturday, May 4, I want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to Connie Burton of Burton Car Wash for her unwavering support of our local Green Up efforts.

For years Connie has generously sponsored a car wash, donating the proceeds directly to organizers. These funds have a significant impact, supporting the Green Up banner on Main Street as well as local tabling events, food, and more.

In recognition of Connie's dedication, let's all show our appreciation! Please join us at Burton Car Wash on Putney Road on Thursday, May 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and say "Thanks" to Connie.

Green Up Day bags will be available for pick-up the week before the event at Brown and Roberts Ace Hardware, the Brattleboro Area Chamber of Commerce , Brooks Memorial Library, and the Brattleboro Food Co-op.

On Green Up Day itself, May 4, look for tabling locations at the Turning Point of Windham County, M&T Bank on Canal Street, Subaru on Putney Road, and the West Brattleboro Fire Department lawn.

For a complete list of Green Up Day bag locations and additional information, please visit the Green Up Vermont website at greenupvermont.org or call Robin Rieske at 802-275-7232.

Let's come together, celebrate Connie's commitment, and make this Green Up Day the cleanest and most successful one yet!
