BELLOWS FALLS-Award-winning country and Americana singer-songwriter Suzy Bogguss is set to bring her signature vocals and storytelling to the Bellows Falls Opera House for a one-night-only concert on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 7:30 p.m.
With a career spanning over three decades, Bogguss has earned three Grammy nominations and two Grammys for vocal collaboration, a CMA Award, and multiple platinum-selling records. Known for massive hits like “Drive South,” “Outbound Plane,” and “Someday Soon,” she “has cemented her place as one of the most defining voices of traditional country and folk music,” according to organizers.
She will be performing classic hits alongside newer material from her recent album, Prayin’ For Sunshine, written and produced alongside Doug Crider, her husband.
Tickets are on sale now at bellowsfallsoperahouse.com. This concert is presented by Ray’s The Roof Productions, devoted to keeping the spirit of beloved Bellows Falls lawyer Ray Massucco alive through the music he loved, in conjunction with Rockingham Entertainment Development, a volunteer nonprofit organization.
