DUMMERSTON-Scott Farm and Center for Solace, formerly Brattleboro Area Hospice, are partnering for a Crêpe Night on Wednesday, June 18.
Crêpe Nights are family-friendly monthly gatherings, held the first and third Wednesdays of each month at Scott Farm, 707 Kipling Rd., from May through August.
These events celebrate the harvest, good, simple food, and community in a picnic-style setting. Local musicians provide accompaniment. Outdoor and indoor tables and chairs are provided, as well as a sprawling grassy hillside for picnic blankets, folding lawn chairs, and bare feet.
Each event is co-hosted by a different local nonprofit that benefits from the evening's proceeds.
"Crêpe Nights are truly fun events," said Scott Farm General Manager Simon Renault in a news release. "Sitting outside eating locally sourced, handmade food with good friends and gorgeous views - it's just a perfect Vermont summer evening and a powerful way to support organizations in our community doing important work."
Colleen Savage, Center for Solace's development and communication director, agrees. "We are so excited to join Scott Farm for our first Crêpe Night and hope to see familiar faces from our vibrant community there supporting us, enjoying a summer evening in Vermont."
The evenings run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and tickets are $20 for adults or $10 for children under 12. Each ticket includes a savory supper crêpe or galette, a sweet dessert crêpe, and a side salad. Drinks are available for purchase.
Tickets are limited, and advanced purchase is recommended. Additional information and tickets are available at scottfarmvermont.com/crepe-night.
